Terms of Service

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Koala Convert, you agree to these Terms and any referenced policies. If you are using the product on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

Keep your login credentials private and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that compromise security or violate these terms. Pro users are responsible for safeguarding API tokens and automation scripts connected to their accounts.

• Do not use Koala Convert to process illegal content or infringe the rights of others.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or white-label the hosted service without written permission.
• Avoid excessive automated traffic that could degrade reliability for other users.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Paddle handles billing and invoices on our behalf, see the Payments Policy for details. Prices may change with advance notice sent to your account email.

We strive for 99.9% uptime, but browser-based processing depends on your device resources. Rendering time can vary by file size, GPU availability, and network access for remote fonts or dependencies. Planned maintenance windows are announced via the status page and email when possible.

You may cancel at any time in the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, circumvent security, or fail to pay invoices. Upon termination we delete or anonymise account data according to the Privacy Policy.

Koala Convert retains all right, title, and interest in the Service, including software, documentation, branding, and proprietary workflows. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our software unless we grant you written permission.

Koala Convert is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the incident.

You agree to indemnify and hold Koala Convert, its officers, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States (Delaware), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved first through informal negotiations. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration in Delaware, unless another venue is required by local law.

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or business changes. When updates are material, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
