Payment processor
Paddle.com Marketplace Limited (Paddle) acts as the Merchant of Record for all Koala Convert transactions. When you enter payment information, it is transmitted directly to Paddle or its PCI-DSS compliant sub-processors. Koala Convert never stores full card numbers or bank credentials.
Payment methods & currencies
Paddle supports major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and regional payment methods where available. Prices are displayed in USD by default but Paddle may convert to your local currency at checkout using their exchange rates.
Data shared with Paddle
- Contact details (name, email) to attach receipts and manage subscriptions.
- Billing address and VAT/GST numbers when required for tax compliance.
- Purchase metadata such as plan type, currency, and total so support can assist with invoices later.
- Fraud-prevention signals (IP address, device info) necessary to protect customers.

Subscriptions & renewals
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until cancelled in the dashboard or through the Paddle customer portal. Paddle emails renewal reminders, invoices, and payment failure notices. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle will retry several times; if unsuccessful, your subscription may be paused until a valid method is provided.
Taxes & invoices
Paddle calculates and remits any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST based on your location. Every transaction includes a compliant invoice accessible from the receipt email or by contacting billing@koalaconvert.com.
Security & compliance
Paddle complies with GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and other regional requirements. Review their official privacy policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy. Koala Convert receives only the metadata required to provision your plan and validate payments.
Billing questions & disputes
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us before filing a dispute so we can investigate quickly. Email billing@koalaconvert.com or use the Paddle self-service portal linked in every receipt. Chargebacks initiated without contacting support may delay resolution.
